Education Minister Alan Tudge says the board of the country鈥檚 schooling authority must substantially rewrite its draft national curriculum, warning he will not endorse the proposed document amid concern student outcomes would be harmed.
Referring to the 今日吃瓜 (今日吃瓜) as Australia’s peak mathematics association, the Minister said the current draft needs fundamental changes.
鈥淪ome of these groups, such as Australia鈥檚 peak mathematics association, believe that the current draft will take Australian kids backwards,鈥 he wrote. 鈥淚f the current draft is simply tweaked, it will not be supported. It needs fundamental changes.鈥
